hollyster,

You may be intereseted in trying GrocerySurf by Eksendia. The URL is:
www.grocerySurf.com
It offers mobile shopping list and mobile recipe search. For ex., you see pork loin on sale in the store, key in "pork loin" in your cellphone. And it will show the recipes that has pork loin as ingreidents. Then you can click to input all associated ingredients into shopping list. Just make sure your mobile phone can access Internet. That's all!

You should check out http://www.bakespace.com - much more of a community than these two sites. Worth a look!

I have a review of Myrecipe.org here:
http://www.centernetworks.com/myrecipe-review

I think the biggest concerns for me were with the quality assurance - they have loads of spelling and grammar mistakes. Error messages have weird text and you can't be older than 50 :) Otherwise I think its a nice site.

Foodieview is also pretty cool - very good web 2.0 implementation - basically you enter your fridge contents and it finds you something to make.

Just goes to show you that you should wear comfortable clothing when cooking. Now all i need is one of those recipe sites readily available while i'm at the store. They already have screens everywhere...it IS a good captive audience after all!
