I know this is a place for reviews, but I cannot find any other immediate way to communicate with the people that review here. You know that question that everyone always asked you, do you know what you want to do when you grow up? Well, no one ever asked you how you're going to stay in touch with your friends when you do grow up. We're all in our so called 'adulthood', we all work and we all have social and family activities that we juggle in our very limited free time. So how do you organize a get together when you have a medium to large group of friends given the limitations of modern lifestyles? So if you're doing something on a friday night, by the time you call your 8 - 15 buddies, find out who's available or not, what time works best for everyone, and what your buddies want to do and where they want to go, you may just realize that all this stress of planning is ruining your night!!!

Planypus to the rescue!!! This is such an awesome service where you can do all your get together planning in advance: small get togethers, large get togethers, parties, museum & restaurant outings, movies, shopping excursions, bar hopping, you name it! You can invite your friends, acquaintances, coworkers, family members, etc. to be in your planypus network. The good thing is that even if someone is in your network and you don't want to invite them, you don't have to. If you plan an activity and don't invite them, they won't see it and won't know about it (of course, that is unless your blabbermouth friend tells them)!! When you create an activity, you can invite whomever you want, and these people respond if they will come or not. There's also realtime space where people can comment on activities and make suggestions. People in an activity can vote on a time, a place or even an activity to do. It's like a chatroom for your friends to make plans so you don't have to make a thousand phone calls! There's even a feature that sends text messages to your phone to notify you of any changes to the activity that you're on! And once everone agrees on what to do, the plans are finalized and everyone knows what's going on, when, where and who's coming!! It's pretty much your social calendar as events get added by you and your circle of friends.

Since I've joined Planypus, planning get togethers has become so much easier and I get to see my friends a lot more. If this ain't enough, think about how many phone minutes and frustrations you'd be saving yourself, not to mention that getting an early start on the weekend is always a good thing!!!
